ABOUT US |

| |
The early years of childhood are precious and few, and yet they have a most significant effect on our adult life. We at the Early Years Daycare Centre believe that it is essential to make every one of those precious moments count. These years are the stepping-stones to what can be a healthy, prosperous and loving life. Children learn more in the first six years of their life than they do in all the years thereafter. A strong educational foundation, instilled during these important early years, benefits the development of our children far into adulthood.
Our daycare system is built of various methods and philosophies. We have adopted the Montessori Method, the Reggio Emilia Project Approach, as well as our own system developed over our twenty years of experience in the field of childcare and education.

The Early Years Method stresses a three-point system that we believe will allow your child to put their best foot forward and further instill a sense of comfort and confidence in their continued pursuit of education.
1) COMFORT
- Smile and welcome the child – every child is exceptional
- Show the child how special he/she is – instill confidence at an early age
- Spend quality time with each child – give every child that much needed attention
- Create a loving atmosphere – encourage friendships
2) COOPERATION
- Let the child find the activities that he/she feels comfortable with – provide a wide selection of mind games and puzzles that promote problem solving
- Encourage the children to play together and interact with one another - provide group games, board games, and playground structures that advance communal play
- Promote sharing and cooperation – teach the children to play together and learn from each other
3) EDUCATION
- Our certified teachers listen to your children and show them the outmost respect – we believe that education should evoke communication
- Read to the children, talk to the children, sing to the children – engage the children in different mediums to continually motivate their attention
- Always bare love, caring and kindness to everyone at the daycare – a loving environment is a good learning environment
- Express emotions and feelings through drama and movement – help the child develop acuity in responding to non-verbal communication and promote mutual consideration and artistic growth

OUR PHILOSOPHY
At the Early Years Daycare we understand that every child is unique and exceptional. Unlike other institutions, we believe that this great individuality mandates that there can never be a universal method for rearing all children. Instead, we understand that children are at their best when engaged through a variety of learning methods. Our professional staffs of teachers and caregivers actively gauge your child's responsiveness to different methods of learning and focus on those that are most effective and conducive to their educational, social, and cognitive development. We put great emphasis on teacher, parent, and child communication and actively cultivate this important relationship. Children at the Early Years Daycare center are treated with the utmost respect, and are spoken to decisively and positively. Our difference can be seen in the face of every child who graduates from our centre – a happy, confident, intelligent, and independent child that retains an educational curiosity throughout life and approaches new experiences with an eagerness to learn.
